premolar, it terminates into
the branches of the mental
and incisive arteries after it
has supplied all of the
mandibular teeth.
Superior alveolar artery
 Anterior superior alveolar artery
 Supply the upper incisors and
canines; they also supply the
mucous membrane of the
maxillary sinus.
 Posterior superior alveolar artery
 Supply the molar and premolar
teeth and the lining of the
maxillary sinus, while others are
continued forward on the alveolar
process to supply the gingiva.
