Today we are going to talk about comparative adjectives that

are used for things

Example:
To say that a tennis ball is smaller than a basketball A tennis ball is smaller tan a basket
we say ball
To form the adjective, we will add "er" at the end
If the adjective ends in "e" we
will only add an "r" at the end.
Example: Example:
De small a smaller + Nice pasaría nicer
De fast a faster

De high a higher

De hard a harder
If the adjective ends in Y, it would
change to Latin i and add er
+ Example:
de Happy a happier
De sunny a sunnier
 There are some adjectives
that double the consonant at + There are some adjectives that do not use "er"

to form the comparative. They usually have
more than two syllables or end in

front of the adjective.
EXAMPLE:

• De Delicious more Delicious
There are three irregular adjectives that do not
follow any rule in these standards.
