Superposition Theorem
• If there are number of emf’s acting simultaneously in any linear network, current or voltage
across any conductor of the network is obtained by super imposing currents and voltages due to
each emf in the network.

• This theorem is applicable only to linear network where current is linearly related to voltage as
per ohm’s law.
