Naviswork
• Project review or analysis software for AEC professionals
• review integrated models and data with stakeholders to gain
better control over project outcomes.
• Integration, analysis, and communication tools help teams
coordinate disciplines, resolve conflicts, and plan projects
before construction or renovation begins.
Aggregate design data

• Naviswork can combine multiple file

formats into one single model file
Types of Naviswork software

• Naviswork Freedom
• Naviswork Simulate
• Naviswork Manage
Naviswork Freedom
• 3D viewer software
• Enables viewing of model hierarchy, object properties, and embedded review data,
including viewpoints, animations, redlines, and comments.
• Free viewer and supports NWD and 3D DWF Files
• Includes full set of navigation tools such as walkthrough
• Supports real time display of materials
Naviswork Simulate
• Real Time navigation
• Whole team review
• Model file and data aggregation
• Review toolkit
• NWD and 3D Pdf publishing
• Collaboration toolkit
• Photorealistic visualisation
• Object animation
• 5D scheduling
Naviswork Manage
• Real Time navigation
• Whole team review
• Model file and data aggregation
• Review toolkit
• NWD and 3D Pdf publishing
• Collaboration toolkit
• Photorealistic visualisation
• Object animation
• 5D scheduling
• Clash detection and management
File Format
• NWD-Complete data. Can beshared with
freedom and other naviswork software.
• NWF-Master file set with links to reference
others. Can not be opened in Naviswork
Freedom
• NWC- Created when exported from Revit or
brought in from AutoCAD
From Revit
-Install naviswork exporter tool
-Set up Navisworks 3D export view

From AutoCAD
-Set up view
-Save as DWG format

3. Generate activity schedule and 4D model

Write a report
-Introduction
-Include the results of 1, 2 and 3
-Discussion

SITE UTILISATION PLANNIG
A process in which BIM is used to graphically represent both permanent and
temporary facilities on site during multiple phases of the construction
process.

It may also be linked with the construction programme to convey space and
sequencing requirements.

Additional information incorporated into the model can include labour

resources, materials with associated deliveries, and equipment location.
