INTRODUCTION

• Oil filter - as the name implies is a filter designed to

remove contaminants from engine oil, transmission oil,
lubricating oil, or hydraulic oil.

• Application: widely used in motor vehicle, aircraft and

etc

• Specification:
-easy maintenance
-low cost
-high durability
HOW DOES IT WORK?

•The oil enters the oil filter under

pressure through the holes on the
perimeter of the base plate.
The "dirty" oil then passes through the
filter media where it is "cleaned".
•It then flows through the central tube
and back into the engine oil passages
through the usually threaded hollow
center mounting stud.

Canister Stainless steel Extra strength and
durability

Base plate Steel sheet Strong enough to hold the

engine pressures.

without denting.

Seal rubber Nitrile Rubber Retains its elasticity and

pliability even in severe
cold.

Canister • Flat Rolling Process • to reduce the cross section of

the incoming material while
improving its properties and
to obtain the desire section at
exit of the roll

• Deep Drawing • Its high ability in producing

shapes with complex
geometries. Cylindrical objects

in particular benefit from this

process.

Base plate • Punching and Blanking Process • Excellent dimensional control,

Seal rubber accuracy, and repeatability
through a production run.

Quality Inspection

• Oil filter testing machine use for leak

testing of oil filters after they have been
lock-seamed with trimming beading
machine. The machines have all the
documentation that is simple to
understand for the operator, with all the
drawings, the diagrams and the plans.
