• A roof is the topmost portion of a building, which

protects the building and its inhabitants from the
sun, rain, wind, snow and all atmospheric conditions.
They should be constructed keeping in view the
climatic changes of a place, availability of materials
and also depends on architectural considerations.
• Roofing materials are of various types, and their
selection depends upon the climatic conditions of a
place, availability of materials, fabrications facility
and the building owner’s budget.

Working hypotheses:
It is used as a conceptual framework for qualitative
(theoretical) and quantitative (empirical) analysis.
Writing down at least 3 principal hypotheses that would
like to defend/verify/falsify in thesis .
• Hypothesis #1:(Mean ,Variance and Descriptive)
• Hypothesis #2:(correlations)
• Hypothesis #3:(ANOVA)
• Other hypotheses: (If necessary or Output Not
determine)
12
1. Introduction Contd…..

Working hypotheses:
The following hypothesis will formulated and tested.
• Customer satisfaction using different types materials and
application.
• The level of satisfaction in each of the dimensions varies with
respondent for selecting particular shop.
• Satisfaction level varies with the amount spent on roofing.
• Mainly focused on industrial to customer needs and public
roofing used with user customer.
• Five dimension(Tangibles,Reliability,
Responsiveness,Assurance and Empathy), Customer
satisfaction (Product Usage,Satisfaction scale and Longevity)

1. Introduction Contd…..

1.3 Limitations of the study:

• The opinion of the respondents might encounter
some degree of deviation due to their biased attitude
and lapse of memory. Also the opinion collected
might change from place to place, time to time and
from people to people.
• As the geographical area of the study is limited to
city & Urban, the findings may not reflect the
average global scenario. ………

15
1. Introduction Contd…..

1.3 Limitations of the study:….

• As there are only a few recently emerged large
scale Industrial stores in city, the data collected
may not reflect the average opinion of the entire
roofing system stores worldwide.
• Analysis of the service quality is restricted to only the
five dimensions which can be further rescaled, to
track for further improvements in specific areas of
service. It may seem to be a hurdle to be aiming at a
global measurement approach until a wider retail
measurement scale is made available.
