THE TOPICS FOR WEEK 4 -5 ARE NOT NEW TO ALL OF YOU.
WHY? Because…these topics were already given in our
previous activities.
 Visual Arts are the expression or application of human creative skill and
imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture.
Visual Arts. A variety of forms that can be enjoyed using the eyes.

 SCULPTURE

 Sculptures are three-dimensional pieces of art that are created by shaping

various kinds of material. Among the most popular are stone, steel, plastic,
ceramics and wood. Sculpture is often referred to as plastic arts.

This is a Philippine made ,known as “ Bulul”

Bulul, also known as bul-ul or tinagtaggu, is a carved wooden figure used to guard the rice crop by the  Ifugao
(and their sub-tribe Kalanguya) peoples of northern Luzon
 PAINTING

 1.1 Painting is often called the most important form of visual art. It is
 about putting colours on a canvas or a wall. Painters express their ideas
through a mixture of colours and different brush strokes.

As the closure of these two topics here,
I’ll give a task.
 In this task, you are required to create a piece of artwork. The purpose of
this task is for you to demonstrate creativity and comprehensive
understanding on the subject of arts and the methods of presenting these
subjects. You have to choose your subject (e.g. Still life, Animals, or Everyday
life)
 Define the following topics and give 2 -3 examples of images choose one
among these 3 topics for you to create or draw a picture/an image for your
presentation .
 Still life
 Animals
 Everyday
 Note- This portion is to be posted in one of our portals.
