It was a very long time ago, it was said that
St. Vincente Ferrer went to the rice field to
watch over since it was a dry season and
there are fields that were so dry to the extent
that the people were hungry and cannot get
anything in the rice field. And when he
comes back to the church, the people of
mahagbu were in shocked because they
found some grass in St. Vicente Ferrers’ feet.
And suddenly they were more shocked when
they found that the field are green and
abundant with their source of food. That is
how they celebrated the Feast of the saint in
the 24th day of November. The day he comes
back and abundance of the field showed.
