BRIEF
I will be creating an advert for the company SIFT (social issues for teens) which will help
children suffering from a mental health
My advert will be a print advert as I feel it will appeal more to my target audiences as ,y advert
is aimed as teenagers 16-18
It will be advertised on buses and also on social media as teenagers of this age group have free
buses fare and is the most commonly transport used around London also promoting my advert
in social media will get to a large audience
The purpose of my advert is to promote awareness for mental health especially to do with teens
GENERAL AIM OF THE ADVERT
CAMPAIGN
The aim of my advert is to spread awareness surrounding the topic of mental health and help others that may
need to express how the feel but the don’t know where to start
TARGET AUDIENCE
From the results of my survey I came to the conclusion that many teenagers these days suffer from a mental
health due to social media as they tend to compare themselves quite a lot also because of bullying, school
and at home the amount of stress teenagers go day a day has increased as they think they can be capable of
managing everything but that’s not the case sometimes they need to express their feeling more and not keep
it in so my campaign
SPECIFIC MESSAGE OF THE ADVERT
In my advert campaign I’m trying to make everyone understand the importance of mental health and the
different types of mental health as I want to reduce the risk of chronic diseases related to stress, anxiety and
substance abuse. Most importantly, I would like with my campaign decrease the number of deaths by
improving the outlook for people that may feel hopeless and lost
PERSUASIVE TECHNIQUES
I will be using the technique of symbolism as the use of several types of mental health will be place in the
image of myself and around my body to symbolize the meaning of mental health and their types of mental
health that people don’t really talk about such as anorexia etc as this eating disorders affects their mental
health
Persuasive techniques are important for my advert as there are many mental health campaigns outs o my one
consist of more content to make my audience encourage people to speak up about mental health
PLACEMENT OF ADVERT
My advertisement will be placed on the sides of buses and bus stops this will be done because teenagers tend
to use buses and public transport more to travel around
I would also advertise my advert on social media such as snap, Instagram, twitter etc
And also youtube

I will ensure that my advert doesn’t breach any legal or ethical constraints as it is going to be presented to a
young audience so I will make sure there’s no harsh language or anything that can upset or harm anyone
