IIT’s Message Foundation and Pillars
IIT–Chicago University
Owns research Institutes (IITRI) and research worth of $300 million/ year is carried out
NCFST is housed inside the campus, US funded FDA is also Housed inside the campus
In 1970, IIT-C became first university in the Midwest United States to offer on-site
instruction at companies via closed circuit television.
IIT-Chicago is the pioneer in interactive multimedia based distance education in USA,
since 1976, where campus classroom is brought to the door step of the student.
