Martin Cooper
• He was born in the poor jewish-ukrainian family in the Chicago (USA).
As a child he always was interesting in discovering new things and
science.
• His first job was weird, - he was oficer on submarine. Then in 1957 he
made a master degree.
• In 1954 he joined Motorola company which was one of the biggest
american telecomunication brand.
• He is mostly known as „Father of the cel phone” becouse in 1973 he
invented first wire less phone. Its name was DYNA TAC
• He made it becouse he didnt liked that people if they want to talk are
tied to desks or walls.

• It weighted over 1,1kg
• It was 25cm long
• Battery lifetime was 20-30min
• Charging was 6 hours.
• Martin Cooper said that: ” The first cell phone model weighed over
one kilo, and you could only talk for 20 minutes before the battery ran
out. Which is just as well because you would not be able to hold it up
for much longer.”
• I choosed him becouse we use phones everyday. To be onest, if there
wasnt phones life would be much harder.
• I also choosed him to be other than rest. Its unique and unusual
person.
