 SPLIT STRATEGY
Split tens and ones of 24

24 x 4 = (20 x 4) + (4 x 4)
96 = 80 + 16

 ADJUSTING ONE NUMBER
12 X 7 = 12 X 7
84 = (10 + 2) X 7
84 = (10 + 7) + (2 + 7)
84 = 70 + 14
84 = 84
EXAMPLE

(40 X 2) + (5 X 2)
= 80 + 10
= 90
15 X 5 = ?
(10 X 5) + (5 X 5)
= 50 + 25
= 75
14 X 6 =?
(10 X 6) + (6 X 4)
= 60 + 24
= 84

72 = (30 + 6) X 2
