CASE STUDY 02: AKODARA, GUJARAT, INDIA

Akodara village in Sabarkantha district lies


in north Gujarat. A small village with a
population of 1,145, there are altogether 220
families residing here.

Most of the families here are involved in


cattle rearing and farming. The main crops
grown here are cotton, castor and wheat.

ICICI Bank launched Digital Village Project in
