The philosophy, vision, mission statements and core values
(PVMSCV) are centered on Jesus Christ, rooted in Gospel

• PHILOSOPHY
• The Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Inc. believes in:
• a. Offering an outstanding Catholic education to all
children whose families choose it including those from
varied family, financial, religious, cultural backgrounds
and adherence;
• b. Infusing all aspects of education in line with K-12
scheme with the Gospel message and Catholic Christian
values;
• c. Forming the mind, body and spirit so that every child
achieves academic excellence, experiences physical, social,
spiritual, and emotional well-being, and acts with character and
integrity;
• d. Partnering with parents, churches and community
organizations to develop each child’s potential and support the
well-being of all families;
• e. The gift of access to quality education carries with it certain
moral and spiritual obligations to humanity and to the
environment for its constructive use in a way that fosters noble
ambition, service to others, and dignity of the human person
and his relationship with the rest of the world.
• f. The nurturance of one’s spiritual nature, drawn
from the Catholic Christian heritage of the school,
provides personal well-being, builds a foundation of
obedience, loyalty, accountability, amiability,
integrity and in one’s efforts, and leads to fostering
sound character, and a respect for the convictions of
others.

of all peoples. She adheres to the mandate for

The Vision
OLAA by 2028 is guided by its vision statement:
• Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Inc. is an accredited Christ-
centered community anchored to its core values: obedience,
loyalty, accountability, amiability and integrity which commits
herself to innovate learning and upholds exemplary piety,
resilience and empowerment to develop intellectual, social,
emotional and religious commitment among stakeholders so
that they become globally competitive, competent and
consistent Catholic Christian citizens in the service of the society
and of the Church.
The Vision
OLAA by 2028 is guided by its vision statement:
• Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Inc. is a Christ-centered
community anchored to its core values: obedience, loyalty,
accountability, amiability and integrity

• Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Inc. ’s stakeholders are
committed to provide Christ-centered learning environment
anchored on the Gospel teachings, virtues of [Our Lady] Blessed
Virgin Mary and St. Therese of the Child Jesus and develop skills
and competencies responsive to the challenges of the global society.
• Administrators, teaching and non-teaching staff should
ensure quality and relevant education which cultivate knowledge of
every student in a holistic environment.
• Parents, alumni and industry/community – partners should
be engaged actively and co-responsibly for the development of every
learner.

• GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE INSTITUTION
• Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Inc. desires to give an education,
which endeavors to develop the total human persons intellectually,
spiritually, physically, morally and socially. Hence, the school is tasked
to prepare its students to serve their fellowmen and to spread the
Kingdom of God.
• With the cooperation of the school’s different stakeholders, the
school aims to provide the local community an atmosphere that will
help each one to:
• 1) Think effectively, communicate your thoughts accurately and judge
rightly through adequate programs;
• 2) Gain deeper knowledge of faith in order to love it better and live it
fully;
• 3)Acquire real Christian values through a well-integrated values
education and religious programs;
• 4) Discover talents, interests and aptitudes and enable one to
choose vocation in which he/she can best serve the community;
• 5) Respect the personhood and rights of others in order to help
each one grow;
• 6) Develop appreciation and love for our country and for our
cultural ancestry and its rightful place in the family of nations;
• 7) Develop habits of industry and thrift and appreciation of the
dignity of honest and useful labor.
• SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT
• 1) HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT
• The secondary education of Our Lady of the angels Academy provides the
students with programmed activities such that after six years, students will
be able to:
• a) Discover and cultivate their aptitudes, interests and talents that equip
them for life and adequately prepare them for college;
• b) Familiarize themselves with fundamental Catholic teachings,
appreciate their faith, and love and live life fully;
• c) Have deep respect for humanity and recognize the brotherhood of men,
love for country, and concern for preservation of culture and
environment;
• d) Discipline themselves and possess leadership skills needed by a true
Filipino, acquire skills in valuing process, and judge rightly.
• 2) ELEMENTARY DEPARTMENT
• At the end of the elementary education, pupil is expected to become:
• a) Young Christian – A pupil who is aware of his/her worth and spiritual values
and capable of expressing his/her faith in God and genuine love for neighbor,
expressing the liturgy in his/her own little ways.
• b) Citizen – A pupil who is capable of disposing his/her rights and responsibilities
in a democratic society through active participation in productive community
living. A pupil who has the basic knowledge and understanding of his/her Filipino
culture, desirable traditions and virtues as basic requirement in promoting national
consciousness and solidarity.
• c) Individual – A pupil who has acquired knowledge of health, fundamentals of
desirable habits and practices, attitudes, knowledge and skills in Science and
Technology, Social Studies, Math, Arts and Letters and able to apply them to
existing real-life situations.
