A WISH CAN BE DEFINED AS AN IMAGINARY SITUATION YOU WOULD LOVE
TO HAPPEN
CONDITIONAL TYPE TWO
• We use this type of conditional to express hypothetical events, in other words, actions that would hapen in
imaginary situations. Examples:

• He wishes he had wings. If he had wings, he could fly to work


• I wish I won the lottery. If I won the lottery, I would buy a Ferrari
• We wish to travel to Italy. If we traveled to Italy, we would have a pizza in La Toscana

• In this case all conditionals express unreal situations and imaginary results
+ CONSTRUCT A CONDITIONAL TYPE TWO…

• The conditions in this type of conditions express an unreal or hard possible event or happening, example:
• If I met to Gal Gadot , This conditions must be expressed in Simple Past
• The outcomes from this condition express imaginary outcomes .

• If I met to Gal Gadot , I WOULD cry I COULD kidnap her

• We use WOULD to express something you certainly would do.


• We use COULD to express something you had the possibility to do .
EXAMPLES:
• If I had a Lamborghini, my crush would date me
• If we knew English, we wouldn’t have to be here
• If there was a WW III, Mexico could become a world power
• If teacher loved us, we all could have 10.

• My family would cry for me if I went as ilegal to USA


• I would eat sushi all day if I lived in Japan
• Your families would be proud of you if you quit all vices
• Mexico would be a 1st world country if Americanistas disapered
FINAL NOTE:
• If you are using the verb TO BE in a condition with first person, you should change it from WAS to WERE:

• If I WAS a rockstar, I would die young

• If I WERE a rockstar, I would die young
