Equipment (PPE)
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tool that has
the ability to protect someone in work whose function is
to isolate the body of the workforce from hazards in the
workplace .
Types of PPE
a. Head Protection

c. Respiratory protection divice

Note : splashes of corrosive materials, ingestion of dust/particles
floating in the air, heat, exposure to chemical vapors,
radiation, electromagnetic radiation, light emission,
impact,/punch of hard/sharp objects.
Ear protection, type :
a. Ear plug
b. Ear muff
Note : protects ears from noise and sparks or hot
metal
Respiratory protection divice
based on function consists of 2 types
1. Respiratory fot pureing the air
a. Contains chemicals
b. With chemicals cartridge
c. With canisters containing chemicals

f. safety shoes to prevent the danger of being stepped on by
pointed objects

Body protection

According to the shape there are :

Function : to reduce the physical risk when wearer falls
