diamond cutting factory as well
as power-looms and women
engage in thread cutting at
home or work as domestic help
in nearby societies to earn their
livelihood.

Recession has a huge impact on


their livelihood as some of the
diamond workers lost their job Local dairy runed by Repairing shops
and others had reduction in vendors
either working hours or wages.
