FIBONACCI

SEQUENCE
- BY RUHAN SHUKLA ( 10 – A)
WHAT IS FIBONACCI
SERIES?
The Fibonacci sequence is a set of numbers that
starts with a one or a zero, followed by a one, and
proceeds based on the rule that each number
(called a Fibonacci number) is equal to the sum
of the preceding two numbers.
EXAMPLE OF FIBONACCI
SEQUENCE!
 These numbers start from zero see, for example the first
two  fibonacci numbers is 0 and 1, now by adding these
two the next number will be 1
The sequence will be 0,1,1 and now adding the last two
numbers the next number will be 2. This will go for
infinite times see the sequence
0,1,1,2,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,377,610,987,1597,2584,
4181,6765 till infinity.
WHO INVENTED FIBONACCI
SEQUENCE?
 The Fibonacci sequence was invented by the Italian
Leonardo Pisano Bigollo (1180-1250), who is known in
mathematical history by several names: Leonardo of
Pisa (Pisano means "from Pisa") and Fibonacci (which
means "son of Bonacci").

WHAT IS GOLDEN RATIO?
 The golden ratio is a kind of a line which has a close relation to Fibonacci Numbers. It is found
when the line is cut into two unequal parts, and the large part divided by the smalest part is the
same as the whole line divided by the larger part.
 The relation to it and Fibonacci Numbers is very big. One is that the ratio of two Fibonacci
Numbers is very similiar with a difference of one to the Golden Ratio's value, which is
approximately 1.1680.
 In a "golden spiral" which is just another shape like the Golden Ratio, the spiral is made of a set of
90* arcs. Each of these Arcs have radii as Fibonacci Numbers.
It's really complicated and there's much more to it. I've just roughly given something here.
