WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY
 Efficiently
technology is the technical
means People use to improve their
surroundings.

It is also the knowledge of using the

tools and machines to do tasks.
AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE
 An automated teller machine (ATM) is :

 Made money transaction easy for

customers to bank 24 hours of time.

 An ATM is a computerized telecommunications

device
 that provides the of a with access to fiin a
public space without the need for a human clerk
or bank teller bank teller.

 Security requiring combination physical access

card + Password(PIN).
PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
(PIN)
 PIN is one method used by banks and phone
companies to protect your account from unauthorized
access.

 A PIN confidential code issued to the and holder to permit

access to that account.

 Your PIN should be memorized , secured and no given to

anyone , not even family members or bank employees.

 The fewer people who have access to pin , the better.

WHY PRESENT ATMs-> ATM with an eye
TWO REASONS :

Environmental concerns

Security concerns
AN ATM WITH AN EYE
 The chances of misuse of this much hyped ‘insecure’ baby
product(ATM) are manifold due to the exponential
growth of ‘intelligent’ criminal day by day.

 There is an urgent need for improving security in

banking region. With the advert of ATM through
banking became a lot easier it even became a lot
vulnerable.

 Provide a cordless , password-free way to get their

money out of an ATM.
TECHNIQUE
 BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION TECHNIQUES

Finger printing

Retina scanning

Facial recognition

Iris recognition
HOW IT WORKS
A camera based in cash machine will

 Detect the pattern in second

 Compare it with one store in a central computer

 Or encode on to the cash card

A sensor system examines randomly

 The iris the colored part of the camera will be checking in unique to every
person

 As unique as a fingerprints
Where It Used

The development of such a system would

Serve to protect consumers

Financial institutions alike from fraud

Other braches of security

working
By forcing the ATM
 match a live image of a customer’s
face/eye with an image stored in a
bank database(associated with the
account number).
 When the data is matched (account
image and stored images).
 User be considered fully verified.

 A system can examine just the eye , or

the eyes ,nose and mouth or ears ,nose
, mouth and eyebrows and so on.
ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES

 Universality  Costly
 Uniqueness  The person should be present
 Stable at the spot
 Accuracy  Small target
 Comfort  Sometimes False acceptances
  and rejections.
 Flash of camera should not
become so bright.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Eye automatically discovered SNMP enabled device,
application servers and applications.
Eye has up to date and accurate end to end visibility on what’s
happening on your infrastructure.
CONCLUSION
We Thus Develop An ATM That is:
 Highly Accurate
Successful application
Easy process
Increasing both privacy and identity security.
