Air Pollution
Chemicals are released into the air
through harmful gases, burning of fuels,
& other byproducts of modern human
life.

Polluted air can impede breathing &

causes many diseases in humans &
animals.
Land Pollution

Waste materials produced by humans are left to

accumulate on the Earth’s surface. Many chemicals,
such as pesticides & fertilizers, are absorbed into soil.

Ingestion of waste can injure or poison animals.

Chemicals can also enter the soil & be absorbed by
plants or leech into the water supply
Noise Pollution

Human produce excess amounts of loud

noise, including industrial & vehicles
sources.
Excessive noise in the environment can
interfere with animal communication. It can
also harm animals that rely on sound for
navigation or hunting.
Water Pollution
Toxins from human & industrial
waste are introduced into our water
supplies.
Water can be a medium for many
pathogens. It can cause disease
when consumed by human &
animals.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
• Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched on 02 October 2014.
• It was lunched by our Prime Minister Modi.
• At a rally in champaran, the Prime minister called the campaign Satyagrah se Swachhagrah in reference to
Gandhi's Champaran Satyagraha launched on 10 April 1916.
Banned on Plastics

● Plastic bags never degrade completely, which shows that as more of them
are produced by companies, more are introduced into the environment.
● The more the amount of plastic bags, the more there is plastic pollution and
its effects.
● Banning the use of plasticbags will help reduce this great effect.
● 100 million marine animals die each year from plastic waste alone.
