BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Technological developments penetrate through the century and enable man to do

many things without much problem.  Suffice it to say that it is the quest to make life
better and less cumbersome that the Almighty technological too – computer ever
know and seen by man enters.  It is reshaping our world and will go on reshaping it.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

 Lack of computer for storage of court proceedings.  There is tendency of

Federal court Kebbi to loose some files which will bring distrust to them.

 There are not many personnel, that are trained as computer operator and
computer analysis.
Aim And Objective
The aim and objective of the study is to expose all the lapses of
the existing manual system of court proceeding in legal Aid
Council and for the program to be able to store a very large
volume of court proceeding and for easy access and retrieval
of information needed for a case.
RELATED WORKS
 Over the decade, a lot of research work had been carried out and many computer

programs had been written in order to assist the police with information on criminals

and crimes. One of such development is the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and

Correction (www.drc.state.oh.us) where the system (database) enables you to search for

people who have been convicted in Ohio, and the information is usually about when a

person is convicted, when the person was sentenced or fined, and when the person was

released. Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction

METHODOLOGY

System analysis is the separation of a system in to its key

components and the study of each component
independently and in relation to other components. Any
additional constraints (internal or external) have to be
included in the overall analysis to determine to determine
their impact on the key decision affecting the existing
system. The end result is the is a realistic definition of of
the problem area as a basis for signing a more effective
IMPLEMENTATION

This chapter illustrates the system coding, testing and

implementation phases. The testing phase involves some
modification to the previous design phase and system
testing has been done to minimize the programming and
system error. At the implementation phase, system
requirements such as hardware and software will be
defined. Besides that, the system prototype interface and

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, it will be pertinent to mention that this design which

is the development of automated integrated Court record database
management system can be fully implemented in the Federal Hight
Court . A fully automated system of this nature can run smoothly in
the Organization. From personal interactions during the course of
this project work, it was discovered that this project work can be
fully implemented in the organization considering the available
resources the organization has, as well as personnel’s who have the
required expertise in managing the system.
