Adverbs of Frequency
Form:

Function:

We use adverbs of frequency to say how often we do things, or


how often things happen.
We use adverbs of frequency with the present simple, when we
describe a routine.
We don’t use adverbs of frequency with the present continuous
tense.

Form:

Function:

We use ‘like to + base form of verb’ to describe preferences or to


refer to hobbies.
We use like (+) or don’t like (-) for I, you, we, and they.
We use likes (+) or doesn’t like (-) for he, she, and it.
In questions (?), we use do for I, you, we, and they, and does for he,
she, and it.
Examples:
