Past Progressive vs Past Simple

Use Past Progressive to talk about an action that was in progress WHEN / WHILE
at a specific time in the past. We use WHILE to tell about two continuous actions happening at the

Past Progressive vs Past Simple
We can use “AS” to introduce two events happening at the same time. “WHILE” and “AS” We can use “WHILE” or “AS” to talk about two longer events
