• online shopping is a form of electronic commerce
 which allows consumers to directly
buy goods or services from a seller over
the internet using a web browser or a mobile app.
• offline shopping is a form where shopping is done
by going to stores. it is a traditional way of
shopping done from store or shop.
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

The main objective of this study is to analyze the


significant difference between online and offline shopping
of consumer groups in terms of demographic, technology
use, availability, and attitude of the consumer.

METHODOLOGY
The study made use of both primary and secondary
sources.
The primary data is collected with the help of a
structured questionnaire that was given to the people
who do online and offline shopping.
The secondary sources of information are collected
from the internet and various statistical tools were used
such as bar diagrams, pie charts, tables in order to
analyze and interpret the data.
For the study, the main 50 sample units were the
people who do online and offline shopping. The study
dealt with the respondent’s age , profession , the main
reason for preferring online and offline shopping.
CONCLUSION
The study reveals that the male are less in doing online
shopping than females. Females are more into online
shopping because they enjoy doing shopping whether it is
traditional shopping or e-shopping.
The main reason for preferring online shopping is due to
wide range of products, home delivery and quicker.

As per study its shown that majority people preferring
online shopping was in between 18 to 25 years of age
and under student profession. The young generations
are more often purchasing from online sites because of
the revolution in technology among the youth
population and they are able to use this technology for
their well-being more than other age group categories.

We would recommend these following points:



Online shopping can be used more because it’s an easy way
for shopping , has a wide range of products and is useful in
the present pandemic situation.

Depending upon the late delivery cases, full or some
percentage of delivery charges should be refunded to the
consumers.
