INTRODUCTION
Inequity- refers to the state of being unfair or unjust.
This would mean that gender inequality is the
result of a social inequity, or societal condition
which creates unfairness in gender norms.
Inequality- refer to unbalanced conditions, although
they are often used to describe unfair
circumstances. For example, describing “gender
inequality” in technical terms moves to illustrate
that not all genders are treated equally in society.
INTRODUCTION.....
Socio-economic inequality relates to disparities
that individuals might have in both their
economic and social resources that are linked
to their social class. These disparities include
but aren’t limited to their earnings, education,
and/or income.
INTRODUCTION....
• Health policy is best understood as a set of overarching
principles and goals that dictate how care is delivered and
accessed.
• Health care policy can be codified at a national or state level,
and then more finely honed in a hospital or clinical environment.
• It is estimated that 76 percent of Ethiopian women live in rural
areas and do not have access to health care due to long
travelling distances with lack of transportation.
• There are 1,949 health stations and 141 health centres in
Ethiopia. Many of these facilities do not have a physician present
to provide care.
