I. SAFE LEARNING FACILITIES

 Assessment of electrical system


 Minor Repairs of school facilities
 Cleaning and Clearing of drainages
 Cordon off and posting of safety signages for on-going construction
 Posting of security and safety measures
 Exit and Evacuation Plan, Identification of evacuation area

II. SCHOOL DISASTER MANAGEMENT

 Posting of Directory of Emergency Contacts


 Establishment of Early Warning Mechanism
 Equip school with first aid kits, flashlight, megaphones etc. for
emergencies
 Identification cards for students, teachers and other personnel
 Secure and safe storage of vital school records
 Pedestrian safety of students
 Documentation of accidents to prevent from happening again and find
measures to mitigate them.

III. WASH IN SCHOOLS DURING BRIGADA ESKWELA

WASH – access to safe water, functional toilets and proper hygiene practice in
school that creates a safe and conducive environment for children to
optimally participate and achieve the learning outcome.

III. WASH IN SCHOOLS DURING BRIGADA ESKWELA

o Provision of water supply


o Repair and Construction of additional gender-segregated restrooms
o Construction and improvement of individual and group handwashing
facilities
o Provision of rest space for menstruating girls
o Improvement of drainages, gutters
o Provision of Hygiene Supplies
o Improvement of Solid Waste Management
o Signages in strategic places within the school
o Orientation of parents and other stakeholders on WinS
o Orientation and certification of canteen operators, vendors and food
handlers.

3. GENERATED RESOURCES – 15 %

 The amount of resources generated shall include all donations-in-


kind and equivalent amount of materials used for the scope of work
accomplished during the Brigada Eskwela Week and the equivalent
amount of volunteer man-hour. It shall also include all resources
accepted after the steering and working committees were formed
and commence to execute their functions.

4. ALIGNMENT TO BRIGADA ESKWELA THEME – 10 %

 The evaluation shall consider the alignment of the program


implementation to the theme and the WASH in Schools at 5%

 The evaluation shall consider the Safety and Preparedness Guide


computed as points meet multiplied by 5%

5. CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION – 10 %

 Evaluated based on the presence of value added projects.

6. INCREMENT OF RESOURCES AND VOLUNTEERS – 5%

 Determined based on the percentage of the increase of the current


performance compared with the previous/last Brigada Eskwela
accomplishments.
