WAC is a report to assess the structured
thinking & logical analysis of students
along with writing skills.

Hence the weightage of marks given to


each of the report elements indicated in
the next slide will reflect the relative
importance of these elements.
Format & Marking Scheme of the Report
1. Title Page (2 for overall format)
2. Table of Contents/ Index
3. Abbreviations if any (only if abbreviations are used in the report)
4. Executive Summary (100-150 words) (Write in the end after all analysis has
been done)
5. Situation Analysis (5 for both ES + SA)
6. Problem Statement (5)
7. Statement of Options (6)
8. Criteria for Evaluation (9)
9. Evaluation of Options (13)
10. Recommendations (5)
11. Action Plan or Plan of Action (5)
12. Contingency Plan (only if there is a contingency plan)
13. Analysis of Exhibits (only if there are exhibits)
14. References (only if applicable)
