IN ZGŁOBIEŃ
NAME OF
CARDINAL STEF
AN WYSZYŃSKI
HISTORY OF OUR
SCHOOL
Our schools first steps begin in 1513.  Building from
1595 was in very good condition but in 1610 the
building needed renovasion. Primary school always was
very religous. A few of the principals were priests but
also the teachers were clerics. The school had few
breaks from educating children. After reopening the
school in 1856 children were learning few laugueges. In
1936 school had another renovasion. From that time
school had several fixes but school works to 2021 and
will work a dozen years.
SCHOOL WHERE OUR
GRANDPARENTS WERE
ATTENDING
Once, the school our great-grandparents attended was
built in the first half of the 19th century, and is now a
place of therapy for people with disabilities. People who
attend it can create beautiful things.

CARDINAL • From October 7, 2017, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński
is the patron of the Primary School in
STEFAN Zglobń.Stefan Wyszyński, the Servant of God, was
born on August 3, 1901 in Zuzela on the Bug
WYSZYŃSKI River, on the border of Mazovia and Podlasie. His
childhood was weighed down by the dramatic
event of his mother's death. She died when he was
only 9 years old. He had missed her all his life.
This longing directed his heart to the Heavenly
Mother - to the one who "does not die", he will
also often point to her in his later pastoral
work. After graduating from high school in Warsaw
and Łomża, he entered the Theological Seminary
in Włocławek, where on August 3, 1924, he was
ordained a priest.

letters in English to each other. The
project was called "Pen Pal Project".
SCHOOL
CELEBRATIONS
• Events at our school In the past, carnival in Poland was celebrated much
more lavishly than today. This time was spent at great feasts, masquerades
and numerous games. Currently, it is celebrated a bit more modestly, but the
tradition has not disappeared. According to the calendar, the carnival begins
on Epiphany and ends just before Lent. Children from grades I - III,
according to this tradition, took part in the wonderful Carnival Ball on
Tuesday, January 7. To the accompaniment of Latin and disco rhythms,
princesses, sportsmen and characters from fairy tales set off to dance.
Children learned to dance cowboy dances, waltz and took part in games of
skill. After the crazy fun, there was time for a moment to rest and regenerate
with delicious cupcakes and cooling drinks that were bought for us by
ladies from the Parents' Council. It is a pity that the next ball is only next
year!
SCHOOL
CELEBRATIONS
• On November 27, teachers from grades 1-3 organized
a St. Andrew's Day party for all students who could
find out what awaits them in the future: luck, money,
bad luck or maybe some other surprise. Of course,
every student knew perfectly well that fortune-telling
is magic and great fun, so it should not be believed.
The whole event was graced with fantastic music and
St. Andrew's fortune-telling, where the fairies were 6th
grade students.
SCHOOL • Our school organizes academies prepared by students on the occasion of
various holidays, for example the adoption of the Constitution of May 3, the
National Independence Day or the Teachers' Day. One of the most important

CELEBRATIONS celebrations at school is the anniversary of naming the school. On this day,
art competitions are organized to test our knowledge about the patron of the
school.
Many of our studnets are talented in sports, maths, languages and a few
STUDENT other subjects. A lot of students took part in competitions and many of them
won or had a very pleasing score. Our school  for many years had a great
SUCCESSES volleyball girl team. The girls teams won many matches with other schools.
Our school also has many talented students that draw, sketch, paint very
well.
