EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
PROBLEM :
• ACCORDING TO THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN
POVERTY ALLEVIATION (MHUPA) IN 2012 THERE WERE 18.78
MILLION UNITS HOUSING SHORT IN URBAN INDIA.
• DEMAND FOR RENTAL HOUSING IS DIRECTLY LINKED TO
THE MIGRATION RATE IN THE CITY.
• MIGRANTS CANNOT AFFORD RENTAL HOUSE BECAUSE OF
INCREASED EXPENSE.
• TRADITIONAL HOUSE MAKES ONE’S POCKET EMPTY EVEN
DEBT RIDDEN.
• TRADITIONAL HOUSE TAKE TOO LONG TO BUILD.
Solution :

Mobile homes :
A large caravan or prefabricated structure that is situated in one particular place and used as permanent living accommodation.
It is optimal solution for the problem as it can be manufactured in large quantities in short time span which helps to prevent housing shortage as
well as at affordable price.

Value :
Convenient and Cheap
Extremely low price in comparison to traditional stick-built homes. In the current housing crisis, they are many citizens’ only option when looking
for a family home. Even compared to renting out an apartment or condo, mobile homes (lot rent included) often come out cheaper.
Speed of Construction
Constructing a foundation or preparing the lot for a manufactured home (mobile home) should also only take a day or two at most. This means it
can be completed before the home is finished. Transporting the home and setting it up can also be completed in a day.
Compare that to the average 7-month construction time for a stick-built home and mobile homes have a huge advantage
Conclusion :
We provide Cheaper and varied offerings not only allow us to break into a new market it will also expand our brand in a positive
way. With the attention from these new offerings, plus the anticipated demand for cheaper homes.

MARKET ANALYSIS
Industry overview
 India is comparatively backward and slow in incorporating prefab
constructions into the real estate market. According to an industrial source,
India has only around 1-2% of prefabricated buildings, out of its more than
USD 100 billion real estate market. One of the main reasons for low
penetration of prefabrication solutions in India is a mindset blockade in India,
with most developers averse to investing in modular methods of construction
and hesitant to incorporate prefabrication in their new and ongoing projects.
MARKET ANALYSIS

Over the next few years, India would feature among the
fastest-growing countries in terms of construction output,
making the technology intervention a key component

BUDGET PLAN:
 “Our goal was to design a market-rate model house that
could be built by a contractor for 10 lakh (nearly 9 volatile
house) (200000for materials and 100000 for labor and
profit), a house for everybody and everyone.
 A 3000 monthly mortgage payment is doable if you
consider other monthly expenditures.
 Our calculations are based on a single house owner,
because 43 percent of below-poverty households in our
County are made up of people living alone. That translates
to a potential market of 800 people in our county.”
 The interior is simple and modern, with birch-veneer
plywood used for walls, floor, ceiling and kitchen cabinets.
 In order to cut construction costs, we chose to leave all the
plumbing and electrical conduit exposed. It took us to 1
year to complete the structure.
