impact of DRRM on disaster preparedness of Tagumpay
Elementary School for the school year 2017-2018. The six
hundred thirty six (636) pupil respondents were randomly
selected from Grade IV, Grade V, Grade VI, and the fifty

Different statistical methods were used in the interpretation

of data. To answer problem number 1, sub-problem such as
sex, age, and type of respondents which sought to determine
the profile of the respondents, All were answered using
frequency counts and percentage.
• Percentage was operationally defined by the formula:
P= F/N X 100
where:
                        P= percentage
                        F= frequency
                        N= number of respondents
To answer problem number 2 which pertains to the practices
employed in preparedness of DRRM; Problem number 3, level of
readiness of the respondents on DRRM; Problem number 3 the services
most transacted and inquired by the respondents regarding DRRM;
Problem number 4 the level of satisfaction of the respondents on the
DRRM in terms of Personnel,Practices, and Suggestions and
Recommendation ,weighted mean was used. Weighted mean was

questionnaire
          N - total number of respondents
          Ʃ - is the summation sign indicating that all entries are to be added
Findings of The Study
The practices employed in preparedness of
DRRM of the pupil respondents are the
symposium and seminars to the parents about
