operation of a thing. Users should be able
to perceive affordances without having to
consider how to use the items.

NAME IS COLLAPS THE RIBBON.WHEN A
USER USE THIS FOR FIRST TIME ,SOMETIMES
HE CAN NOT GET WHICH ONE IS SCROLL UP
AND WHICH ONE IS COLLAPS THE
RIBBON.THIS TWO BUTTON LOOKS LIKE
MOSTLY SAME.SOMETIMES USER MAKE
MISTAKE WHEN THEY USE FOR THE FIRST
TIME

 An object's function should be visible so that user

can see what it works & how it is currently doing
and see what controls are available .Visibility is
the property that defines how visible an element
is and how apparent its function is

Here in MS Powerpoint , this button

is customize quick access toolbar .
But when a user search for this
function ,they can not find this
easily. Its so difficult for a new user.

Sometimes when a user click

outside mistakely of the slide,it
shows like this.then he can not find
why its not able to edit our slide.Its
a big problem for new users

The system image is the visible part of a

device (including the physical structure,
instructions, etc). The designer only talks
to the user through the system image. If
the system image doesn't make the design
model clear, then the user will create a
different model through their interaction

person. It defines how well does the system allow
someone to do their intended actions directly.
