• Hi, Kate,
I’m glad to hear from you. First of
all, I want to thank you for your
previous letter, in which you shared
the latest news with me.
Is everything alright?
I just got your letter and I think I
can help you. You’ve decided that
you would like to learn to play
tennis. And of course you know
I’m been playing for years. I guess
I can give you some advice. I have
ideas!
• Here's what I think you should do.
Firstly, the best advice I can give you is join a tennis club. If
you know, trainers and a tracksuit are OK - you don't need
special clothes. It’s really comfortable.
Also it would be a good idea to find a friend to give you some
lessons.
• Secondly, you should buy a racquet and some balls. But don’t spend too much,
about £50- £75, because you might not like it.
How about borrow a book from the library or read some information from the
Net? I’m persuaded this will help you and you will be excited about tennis.
