 Seeding
 Plugging
 Sprigging
 Sodding

 Here I will display ways for individuals to succeed
in establishing their lawn.
 1. You can install by SOD
 2. You can install with Grass seed
 3. You can use mushroom manure as a fertilizer
 4. You can use straw as a fertilizer
 5. Best time to plant is in the spring or fall not
summer.
 6. Don’t get discouraged if lawn doesn’t come in
right away, follow the steps, and you will reach your
goals.

 Ph governs the availability of nutrients activity level of microorganisms


 PH
 Most lawns grow best in soil pH -5.5/6.5
 Low pH than 5.0 (acidic soil)
 Dolomite or Limestone
 Avoid over Liming – weak growth will result
 High pH gt 7.0 (alkaline soil)
 Ammonium sulfate, Aluminum sulfate, Sulfuric acid

 Soil Test Recommendation
 Phosphorous (2-3 lb per 1000sqft)
 Application of seed, sprigs, sod, plugs
