160 stories, Burj Khalifa holds the following

THE PARTHENON
ACTIVITY NO. 1
BUILDING-2

The Parthenon is remarkable for

the fact that it includes almost no
straight lines. Both the
entablature and the base
platform curve upward at the
centre, the metopes lean outward,
and the columns slightly swell in
the centre. The intention of these
optimal refinements’ has been the
subject of some conjecture. THE PARTHENON
ACTIVITY NO. 2

1. Create your Geometric Massing Model applying the Design

Principles/Elements using any available materials.

• Size of the board = 200mm x 200mm

2. Provide a Descriptive Concept on how you came up with the

Design/Shape in A4 size Paper (Hand Written with sketches)

3. Enumerate the Design Principles you considered in your Geometric

Massing Model.

4. Indicate your Name on the board and on the A4 size of Paper
