Programme was initially aimed at Agricultural crops, it soon spread to other allied areas like diary, poultry, fisheries and sericulture. Scale neutral: Increase in production following adoption of these verities is not dependent upon the size of farm. Not Resource neutral: Requires more resources and inputs and are costlier to cultivate. Benefited to rich farmers and has increased the gap between small n large farmers. TOT programe of ICAR.
