Security has become a looming concern in our everyday lives as the

matters of insecurity are on the rise both locally and internationally.

Online Visitor Tracking System (VTS) is a web application that keeps

record of the visitors of an organisation. This software product eases the
difficulty of managing visitors using the outdated paper and pen method.
Students, Faculty and other users of this software will be able to notify
the security department that they will be having a visitor by filling an
online form in the (VTS) web page. The system uses a simple and easy to
understand GUI. This makes the functions easily accessible by its users.
Funtionality
 Aims and Objectives

 The aim of this project is to design and develop a web based visitor
tracking system for the American University of Nigeria, Yola.
 The Objectives are:
 To increase security of the campus
 To ease and make swift the visitor management process
 To have a data on number of guest coming in daily
 To have a record of old visitors in case there is an infraction that
needs to be investigated.
