Respiratory system

• Human, animals, plants, as a living thins need oxygen to live

• When we breth we corporate organ to build a system organ that arrange oxygen
to work in other cell in our body
• This pxygen dosnt available in our body, we get oxygen from out surrounding
• Breathing is the activity of inhaling oxygen into lungs and exhaling it as a co2
• So today we gonna talk about respiratory system
First lets talk about respiratory
that consisting of:

• Nose. The fungtion of nose is as a passageway for air come in to lungfs.

Inside the nose, there is an adjustment of air temperature and filter the dirt
by mucus membrane and nose hair.
• Laring. The fungtion of laring ia as a klep for passageway between food or
air. If that foor the laring will open into esophagus but if that an air the
laring will open it into throat
• Throat as passageway air from laring to trakea
• Than the 4th respiratory is trakea.build by cartilage and located in front of
esophagus. The fungtion of trakea as a communicator from laring and
bronkus
• Than the 5th respiroatory is bronkus. Bronkus is a segmen or divarication
from trakea. Has two segmen intoluns. Everypart of segmen contonoud by
bronkioulus and ended by alveolus. In the alveolus occure a gas exchae
between oxygen become co2. the fungtin of bronkus is a passageway air
from trakea into lungs
• The last respiratory is a luns. We has two lungs and located in our chest in
the top of diafragma. The shape of lungs such as spons and have two part
are left and right.our left lungs just have two segmen, but our right lungs
has three segmen.
Respiratory process in human:
• Human has two process of respiration, its called: chest respiratory and
stomach respiratory
• Lets talk about chest respiratory first:
• When we breath using chest, the muscles that play a role that the muscles
around the ribs
• This muscles are devided into two partnamely outer rib muscles and inner
rib muscles.
• The fungtion of outer rib muscles to lift the ribs
• While the inner rib muscles to lower the ribs to a normal position
process
• If the muscles of outer ribs get contraction, ribs
will raise up/ lift so that the volume in chest
increasing it cuses pressure in the chest become
lowe, because of the pressure become lower, it
will causes air flow enter from outside body
into the body. This process called inspiration.
• While if the muscles of ribs constraction and
get back to their normal position, it causes air
preassure so that make the air pressure in the
body become incres and causes air in the lungs
compresed in the chest cavity so that the air
flow will be pushed out of the body. This
process called expiration.
2nd lets talk about stomach respiratory
• Stomach breathing also known as diaphragmatic respiratory is a breating
that using muscles in abdomen and diafragma.
• The inspiration processbegining from diafragma muscles constraction and
the position become flat. This causes volume of the chest increase and air
pressure decrease and the lungs will expand and air will enter in lungs.
• While the process of expiration occure if the diafragma muscles relaxing
and muscles of admdomal pussed toward to diafragma, so that causes
diafragma position become concave to chest cavity
Fungtion of respiratory system:
• Inhaleand exhale air or breathing
• Gas exchanged between lungs and blood flow
• Gas exchange between blood flow and body system
Method to keep/maintain our respiratory
system:
• Not smoke because in the smoke there are many chemicals that gangerous
to our respiratory system
• Sport to keep our healthy
• Decreasing pollution that can disturb the respiratory system
• Avoid infection
