Smart hand sanitiser

dispenser

Problem statement

• A majority of the doctors and nurses in the hospitals do not use hand
sanitisers before/after attending a patient. This causes a increase in the
spread of infections among the patients. Especially in the ICU, if the doctors
and nurses don’t sanitise, it may lead to fatal infections.
Objective

• To develop a smart hand sanitiser system, which collects data of the doctors
and nurses who have sanitised their hands in a day and to analyse the data.
Working principle

• The hand sanitiser identifies the person using the sanitiser and sends the
data to the hospital’s database.
• This saved data is used to analyse who have used the sanitisers at what
frequency.
