Background

China has the world's largest market of imported food with the
retail scale exceeding 1 trillion RMB yuan, and this market is
still vigorously growing, which means there are great potential
for global food manufacturers and suppliers.

To better connect you directly with Chinese importers and


dealers, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade
(CCPIT) Information Center will organize the virtual B2B fair --
the 2nd CHINA ON-LINE IMPORT FAIR & MATCHMAKINGS OF

Organizer

 CCPIT

Founded in 1952, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is the largest foreign trade
and investment promotion agency in China, with over 1,000 national sub-branches, 38 overseas
representative offices and more than 200,000 member companies. CCPIT also participates in World Expo on
behalf of the Chinese government, and supports China International Import Expo (CIIE) and China
International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).

 CCPIT Information Center

CCPIT Information Center, an affiliate to CCPIT, specializes in international trade and investment consulting
and provides trade and investment matchmakings of 800,000 times per year. For the first half of year, CCPIT
Information Center successfully hosted the 1st CIFFA, and accumulated a wealth of Chinese food & agro-

MATCHMAKING

1 How to schedule a meeting?

1) Exhibitors confirm the specific date and time (GMT) of matchmaking.

2) Buyers can contact us if they would like to schedule a meeting. We will coordinate a meeting to
exhibitor’s available time. 

3) The meeting schedule will displayed on CIFFA platform, [Dashboard] - [My Online Meetings] page.

4) Click [Join] at the designated time to conduct the virtual face-to-face meeting. All on CIFFA and NO
NEED to download any software.

MATCHMAKING

2 How long will each meeting be?

Virtual buyer meetings are 30 minutes each, which will enable exhibitors to showcase their products and
discuss core business details.

3 As an exhibitor, how many meetings can I expect?

At the 1st CIFFA, all exhibitors had 1-9 appointments. As more buyers to participate in the 2nd CIFFA, that
number is expected to continue to rise. We prioritize one-to-one video matchmaking, but one-to-many
video matchmaking can be considerable if the interested buyers are too much (>6).

The 1st CIFFA held more than 100 one-on-
one online matchmaking from May 24 to
June 30, 2021.

Before the meeting, We translated all the


exhibitors’products information, as well as
made inquiries with the buyers about their
purchase needs, to make sure the meeing
scheduled suitable and accurate.

During the meetings, we provide free translation, so that both sides can express their own concerns and
understand each other quickly and accurately.

After the meetings, we set up a WeChat group to allow both sides to conduct more detailed inquiries and
follow-ups to ensure that both parties have their needs met.

 Register on the exhibition platform, http://ciffa.trade


invest.cn/

 Fill in the company information. Log in to your mailbox,


view and enter the verification code. Click [Create
Account], and jump to the user [Dashboard].

 Enter the [Dashboard] - [Exhibitor Information] page,


complete the company information, click [Submit], and
wait for the qualification check.

Step 2:
Within 2 working days, we will contact you to

 Verify the business certificate.

 Send you an agreement.

After we signed the agreement and you paid the exhibition fee, your CIFFA account will be approved.

Step 3:
 Upload your company and products information in text, photo and video.

 Select your availible matchmaking time period so we can schedule meetings with buyers as early as possible.
