Reflexive Pronoun
reflexive pronoun merupakan kata ganti diri dalam kalimat
bahasa Inggris. Namun, tak semua kalimat bisa
menggunakan kata ganti ini.
Jack decided to reward himself with a dinner out.

Dalam contoh kalimat di atas, Jack merupakan subjek

dan himself mengacu kepada Jack yang merupakan objek dari
kalimat tersebut.
Dibandingkan dengan menulisnya lagi dengan “Jack” akan lebih
baik diganti “himself” yang akan mengurangi kejanggalan dari
kalimat itu.
•‘m going to buy myself new jeans. (Saya akan membeli jeans baru
untuk saya sendiri.)
•It’s essential to treat others like you treat yourself. (Penting untuk
mmemperlakukan orang lain seperti kamu memperlakukan diri
