• There are different types of PPE.


• It is important to determine which PPE is right for your task
and how to select your PPE.
EYE AND FACE
PROTECTION
SAFETY GLASSES:

• They have safety frames constructed of metal or plastic.


• They must comply with ANSI standard Z87.1
CHEMICAL SPLASH GOGGLES:

•  They provide protection from impact, dust and splashes. 


• They must comply with ANSI standard Z87.1
Welding Shields

• They protect both the


eyes and the face from
flying sparks, metal
splatter and slag chips.
Face Shields
