individual?

The bases for estimating the desirable intake of an individual are by using the
recommended dietary allowance. which is the average daily dietary intake
level that is sufficient to meet the nutrients requirement of a healthy
individual and by using the principles for estimation of energy requirements,
which is if energy intake declines with increasing inactivity then an

Reflection time

Reflection time! According to Arkansas state university (2016), nurse should learn about nutrition and
diet therapy since nurse are the main point of contact with patients , they must understand the
importance of nutrition basics and be able to explain the facts about healthy food choices to their
patients. Do you agree with thus claim? Why or why not? Discuss in not less than 5 sentences.
Proper nutrition plays a big role in disease prevention, recovery from
illness and ongoing good health. A healthy diet will help us look and
feel good as well. Since nurses are the main point of contact with
patients, they must understand the importance of nutrition basics and
be able to explain the facts about healthy food choices to their
patients. Nurses provide the information necessary to sort the fact
from fiction about healthy eating and pass that knowledge on to their
patients. Not only must nurses be able to explain the ins and outs of a
healthy diet, they must also lead by example. Therefore, we agree
that nurses should learn nutrition and diet therapy and must
understand the importance of nutrition basics. Because they can help
their patients and many ways, such us avoiding eating foods that can
worsen their illness and balance their diet.
