*Location: To enjoy this beautiful place, you have to walk through the forests starting from Cochachimba or San
Pablo, which are the closest towns; a 5-hour trip (round trip) .
*Best time to go: Let's go to Gocta waterfall in December to March. The weather is better than in June ,you will be
able to appreciate them in their maximum splendor.
*Why I want to visit: It’s one of the highest waterfalls in this beautiful world.

I’d like to visit Gocta waterfall, Peru. You can

be visited throughout the year, but for me
the best time to visit is in the rainy season
(December to March) you will be able to
appreciate them in their maximum
splendor.
What’s special about it ? It's one of the
most beautiful attractions that has Peru is
the Gocta waterfall. Considered one of the
highest in the world - it is 771 meters high -,
appreciating this spectacle is a unique and
amazing.
How to get there ? To enjoy this fantastic
place, you must first travel to Chachapoyas,
capital of the region. From Lima, it is a 24-
hour trip by land and the ticket has a cost of
90 soles. You can also go by plane from
Lima to Jaén, Tarapoto or Cajamarca, and
then complete the tour by bus.
Let's go to Gocta, one of the highest
waterfalls in the world! It is a place full of
impressive landscapes , lagoons and
waterfalls which offer you a great
opportunity to disconnect yourself from the
routine and get in touch with nature.
