RELIGI
ON?
- It is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural
system, behaviors and practices, world views, sacred
texts, holy places, ethics and societal organization
that relates humanity to an order of existence usually
shared by a community or group.

It is a particular system of faith and worship and

serves as human’s way to God.
“Religion is a system of beliefs
and practices by which a group
of people interprets and responds
to what they feel is sacred and
usually supernatural as well.”
—JOHNSTONE (2004)

What is
SPIRITUA Spirit
Body

LITY?
Mind
- It is the quality or state of being concerned to being
spiritual ( in mind body and soul/ spirit).

It involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or

belief that there is something greater than ourselves,
something more to being human than sensory
experience, and that greater whole of which we are
part is divine in nature.
- It does not require membership within an
organized religion, nor does it have the
authority structure.

It is deeply personal and not systematic.

“Spirituality is the aspect of humanity that
refers to the way individuals seek to
express meaning and purpose and
the way they experience connectedness to
the moment, to self, to others, to nature
and to the significant or sacred.
— CHRISTINA PULCHASKI
