A. Mankind as the top in creation of the world
 Rumi argues that just as a banana tree will continue to grow until it
produces fruit and then dies, so does this universe which was created
for humans.
 Based on the Qudsi hadith “Lau laka wa lan laka, ma khalaqtu al
allama kullaha” that means, If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have
created this whole universe. Humans are the pinnacle or ultimate
goal of nature's creation.
 Biologically, humans are the most complete and most sophisticated
creatures. Both in terms of elements and the power it has.
 The power in is vegetable power, animal power. Vegetable power
includes Al Ghadziyah, Al Munmiyah, Al Muwallidah. Then, the animal
element includes Al Mudrikah and Al Muharrikah.
 Regarding the senses, in addition to the outer senses, Ibn Sina also
introduces the 5 inner senses so that they are called the five inner
senses. The five mental senses are Al Hisy Al Musytarak, Al Khayal, Al
Mutakhayyilah, Al Wahmiyah, Al Hafizhah.
 The characteristic of humans that distinguishes them from other
creatures is that they have common sense.
 Functionally the mind is divided into 2, namely cognitive or
theoretical abilities (al quwwah al alimah) and practical abilities (al
quwwah al amilah).
 If cognitive reason is related to science, practical reason is related to
lust which should be controlled and managed properly so that it
makes morals commendable.
 Humans are perfected by God not only as physical beings but also
spiritual beings who have the heart and mind to receive spiritual
things such as inspiration and revelation.
 People who have reached a certain level or what is commonly
referred to as Al Insan Al Kamil, namely prophets and apostles, will
become role models, and guide the lives of their people.
B. The Aim of Mankind Creation
 As contained in the surah Al Baqarah / 2; 31 it is stated that humans
were created on earth as caliphs
 The purpose of the creation of living things is not only for humans but
also for the jinn and the entire contents of the earth and sky based on
the surah in the Qur'an
 To carry out the function of this caliph, God gave two special gifts to
humans, namely knowledge (ilm’) and freedom of choice (ikhtiyar).
 Then to complement God also gave reason as a means of these 2 gifts
where it does not exist in other living things.
C. Position of people having knowledge
• In the suras Al Zumar and Al Mujadilah it can be concluded that people who
have knowledge have a more honorable position than people who do not have
knowledge.
• Then why are Muslims more left behind than other people?
 Almost all Islamic countries have been colonized by other nations,
especially Europe and America, thus affecting the shackles of education,
social and culture.
 Western countries look at Islam with one eye even some consider Islam a
threat and hinder the progress of their country.
 Muslims are too focused on internal conflict
 Muslims have not fully studied other sciences such as economics because
they think Islam is only limited to prayer and the like.
 Muslims are too long in stupor.
