said in a bulletin that the tremor, which

was tectonic in origin at a depth of 2

kilometers, struck Tulunan, Cotabato, at 9:

15 am on October 31.

It was also felt in Kidapawan City,

Bansalan, Davao del Sur, and Matanao,

Davao del sur.


PHIVOLCS said that damage to infrastructure and
property were expected in areas affected by the
quake, which were still reeling from the effects of
two strong earthquakes.
According to NDRRMC, about 30,000
families or 150,000 individuals are affected
by the earthquake.
The Ecoland 4000 condominuim in Davao city
sustains serious damage after the 6.5 magnitude
earthquake.

collapses after the 6.5 magnitude earthquake.
Angel Locsin spotted buying relief goods for Mindanao
quake victims.
The European Union (EU) has donated 500,000
euro or some Php. 28 million for victims of the series
of strong earthquakes that struck parts of Mindanao
in October this year. The EU made the announcement
in a statement on Monday, November 25.
“The earthquakes have affected people in communities
that were already poor and vulnerable. Our Focus is to
bring urgently needed assisstance to those most heavily
impacted by the disasters.”

Earthquakes most often occur with little to no
warning. By taking action today, one can reduce
vulnerability to earthquakes that may happen in the
future.
