Definitions

Human beings are part of nature and the quality of our life depends
of how we relate to all the beings with whom we share and live on this
planet. That is why we must take care of nature, since our well-being
depends on it.
Nature is in a permanent process of movement and transformation
that manifests itself in different ways, for example, through
of natural phenomena of a certain regularity such as rain, winds,
tremors of the earth or the natural wear and tear of the soil that
produce erosion.
Kind
Earthquakes, floods, fires, volcanic eruptions, tropical storms,
tornadoes,
thunderstorms, landslides, droughts,
Pests and phenomena called "El Niño" and "La Niña"
they are part of nature.
Causes
The main causes that give rise to natural disasters is the
change in the tectonic plates and the change in the
climate, that is, the very changes of nature, but the
unnatural activities that man has in his development both
as an individual and as a society they have also brought
climate change but in an uncontrolled way causing
pollution, global warming and greenhouse effect.
Consequences

Despite the innumerable technology that the human being has been
able to develop throughout its history, it remains completely vulnerable
to natural disasters, because, due to its magnitude, whenever they
occur, a lot of resources are lost both human and economic and
material that can sometimes be totally irrecoverable for the affected
countries.
 Human casualties.
 Losses of natural and economic resources.
Cases
 Earthquake of Cusco (1950)
 Earthquake in Ica (2007)
 Alluvión of the Huascarán mountain (1962)
 Floods in Cusco (2010)
 El Niño Phenomenon (1997-1998)
Suggestions
 People do not live in dangerous places for
example near an active volcano, on hillsides with
danger of landslides, or near large rivers
that can overflow.

 Always have a first aid kit, flashlights, radio and batteries

in a strategic place and safe. It also reserves drinking
water and some non-perishable foods such as canned
foods and chocolates that will give you energy.
