Module 13: Verb and Verbal's

 Verbs are very important for language development because they allow us to start building
sentences. The choice of verb determines the grammatical form in a sentence. Verbs are the
words that take about our actions, on what we do, and they are very important part of our
vocabulary.
 Without them, we would not be able to create and use sentences. Verbal is a verb form that
acts another part of speech either as a noun, an adjective, or an adverb. Participles,
gerunds, and infinitives are the three verbal types.
Module 14: Gerunds and Infinitives

 Gerunds are words that are formed with verbs but act as nouns. All gerunds end-ing.
Unlike a normal noun, a gerund maintains some verb properties. Gerund can take a direct
object and be modified with an adverb. An infinitive is a verb consisting of the word to
plus a verb and functioning as noun, adjective or adverb.
 Infinitives, in many other languages the infinitives is a single word. An infinitive may take
objects and other complements and modifiers to form a verb phrase.
Module 15: Affixes

 I have learned that Affixes have many types aside from Prefixes and Suffixes. I have
learned also on how to place where to put it, is this in the first, middle or in the last.
 It is very important to teach as it helps learners guess the meaning of new words the find,
and construct new forms successfully.
Module 16: Common Confusing Words

 Common confusing words are the correct way for, there are several groups or pronounced
similarly that can be become confused by people. Commonly confused words would be a
list of pained words that are confused in meaning or spelling with each other.
 To avoid common confusing words you might use dictionary, then keep a to list or words
that you confused, then study the list of commonly confusing words into your mind.
Module 17: Correct words Choice

 A word choice is correctly selecting words that are appropriate for what one is intending to
relay. To be coveful with ones choice of words when speaking with or writing to depending
on who the are without running the risk of being viewed or perceived or offending or being
impertinent.
 The purpose word by making the message clear specific and meaningful.
EM 12

 Since our class started I have been very impressed with Ma’am Leah’s teaching style. Her
ability to speak English is one thing that I really admire her. Even the topic she discussed
she will be able to explain the lesson continuously. However if our class started. I was felt
nervous because I might called me to recite and I am not able to answer. After the
discussion I really thanked god that she wasn’t called my name. She is strict but she is
thoughtful and very dedicated to her teaching career. She is very intelligent too
Module 13: The house of Atreus

 From its inception the dynasty of Atreus was cursed with pride and violence. The
grandfather of Atreus was Tantalus a son of Zeus who had the good fortune to banquet with
the gods, dining on nectar and ambrosia. His first act ingratitude was to take the divine
food and feed to his mortal friends. The story all did massively evil or foolish things to
offend the gods.
Module 14: House of Athens

 As I’ve noticed the Athenian population ad the right to express opinions, options, and to
vote. The evolution of democracy to the present day with it’s emphasis on equality, rights,
justice, freedom, integrity is commendable. Peoples of the Athens are feeling great anger
and confusion, they feel abused by their leaders. The house of Athens is notable in the
number and degree of supernatural feats that behalf its members.
Module 15: Oedipus

 Oedipus was a mythical Greek king of Thebes. A tragic hero in Greek Mythology. Oedipus
accidentally fulfilled a prophecy that he would end up killing his father and marrying his
mother which bringing disaster to his city and family. Jocasta kills herself because she is
ashamed for having become intimate with her son Oedipus. Oedipus blind herself our of
shame because he does not want to see what he has done. To prevent the prophecy.
Oedipus kill his father but he does not even know the man he has killed was his own
biological father.
 He makes ultimate sacrifice of giving his life for someone else he attain his goals.
Module 16: Perseus

 Perseus was a demi-god, the son of Zeus and a mortal named Danae. Perseus killed the
famed monster Medusa, the hideous gorgon with snakes for hair turned anyone with the
misfortune of looking into her eyes turn into stone. Perseus killed Cestus and Sued the
princess Andromeda, took to BC his wife. The moral of the story is that the gods where
capricious mean-spirited and extremely vain and selfish. Perseus is incredibly brave. No
matter how dangerous the monster in his path. He has a high intelligence level because he
knew to kill Medusa.
Module 17: Hercules

 Hercules, a son of gods, was snatched as a baby by Hades and forced to live among mortal
as a half-man, half-god. Hercules needs to perform a rite of passage on Earth to prove
himself worthy of living with the gods on Mount Olympus. With his plucky satyr sidekick,
Philoctetes along for the ride. Hercules must learn how to use his strength to defeat a series
of evil creature. Hercules had a great deal of strength and energy could had been a real
monster. He had enough pent up range and anger he could have taken out whole villager if
he wanted to but instead he choose to sue his strength and energy for good.
