 WASHING MACHINE: Used
for washing linen & Uniform

 HYDRO-EXTRACTORS:
This extracted the water from
washed linen
 DRYERS: This is used
removing moisture from damp &
tightly packed linen.

 FLAT BED IRON: A foot

press
 CALENDERS: These
are large machine used
for pressing large linen
such as bed sheet, bed
cover etc.

 CUFF & COLLER

PRESSES: These press
consist of three spring
loaded bucks that are
firmly padded. Cuff &
Coller of shirt are placed
iron these for pressing.
 SLEEVES PRESS: Used
for pressing sleeves by
placing on buck.

 STEAM CABINET: These

are boxes in which linen such
as curtain, bedspread, are
hung so that steam may be
passed through them.
 IRONING BOARD: To
be used with hand-held
iron.

 FOLDING MACHINE: it can fold in less

than 4 minutes. The user clips the
piece of clothing on two hooks and the
item is pulled into the machine.
 DRY-CLEANING MACHINE:
Used for dry cleaning the
uniforms & linen.

 CARTS, TROLLEY AND

SACS: These are used for
transfer the linen from laundry
to linen room and from linen
room to laundry.
