BUSINESS PROBLEM
Slide 6

Vehicular pollution is the introduction of harmful material into the environment by

motor vehicles. These materials, known as pollutants, have several bad effects on
Slide 5

human health and the ecosystem.

The data sets were obtained with regard to fuel economy from the official source
from the Database of US Government information. This enabled us to frame a
Slide 4

collective dataset to formulate the pollution cause and factors that governs the
emission rates of the states if California and Florida.

With the data visualization, the government and ministry is analyzing the various
Slide 3

threats and opportunities with the categories that concerns environmental pollution
rates and standard of cleanliness and quality of air that the general public is exposed
to daily basis.

Slide 2
Out of the categories that are analyzed, conclusions can be framed with respect to the
optimum model of car and the fuel utilized for benefits of improved greenhouse gas
rate and decreased rate of air pollution considering the class of vehicles and the
mileage of the vehicles.

INFERENCE
Slide 6

• Carbon Dioxide v/s Fuel and Drive - Carbon dioxide emissions were observed
most in diesel engines and followed second by gasoline engines in both 4WD and
2WD cars.
Slide 5

• Air pollution v/s Fuel and Drive - Air pollution scores have 10 as the score to be
optimum and 0 to be hazardous, Electric and hydrogen fueled cars in this regard
are considered best.

Slide 4
• Fuel v/s green house gas score - Greenhouse scores similar to air pollution
scores are at optimum rates at 10 and are considered hazardous at 0. Hydrogen

Slide 3
and Electric fueled cars are again regarded favorable under this criteria

• Fuel v/s drive and mileage - Considering the Drive and fuel consumption as
factors. Electricity fueled cars have better mileage.

Slide 2
• Carbon Dioxide v/s Vehicle class - Pickup cars that run on gasoline is regarded
the prime carbon dioxide emitter.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Slide 6

It has been observed through the study that diesel and Gasoline proved
to be cause of decreased quality of air and the vehicles that were fueled

Slide 5
by Diesel and Gasoline has considerable a lesser mileage rate and this
prove to be economically a drawback in addition to the pollution factor.

Also, the study focused on the various benefits that came with the

Slide 4
usage of hydrogen and electricity being used as fuels to run the cars.
Pollution was found to be minimal and the mileage for both 4-wheel
driven and 2-wheel driven cars was found to be optimum in both city
limits and highway limits.

Slide 3
The Government of America, fuel economy can use this study to
administer the fuel usage for not only the states of Florida and

Slide 2
California, but for a better economic outcome for the entire nation in
addition to protection of the environment.
